After meeting Shimano’s  Mr Nigel Bracey and discussing  our clubs future plans for open competitions, tackle road-shows  social evenings ect, I am delighted to  announce that we can now welcome   SHIMANO  as a major sponsor of our club. Just mention the companies name and “quality” immediately springs to mind,  quality of the very highest standard.

During the next few months we look forward to building on  our  already impressive reputation for providing top quality competitions/prize tables and with the assistance of Shimano feel sure we can achieve our aims.

IAN GOLDS WEEK-END REVIEW

I’m pleased to say  that the Ian Golds road-show week-end went brilliantly, with our main guest Mr Ian Golds returning home a  very happy sponsor. The weekend began with the roadshow morning where people were happy to have a cast of the latest range of rods from the Ian Golds stable, I know Ian was very excited by the feedback from people who were very positive about the rods performance, the Ian Golds new igloo also drew a lot of attention and will I’m sure become a very popular sight on  our beaches.

We have courtesy of Ian, the full range of his rods to fish with in conditions for which they have been designed and we will be making a DVD  giving  honest opinions of how  we feel they have performed.
